5.4.1 Cabin doors

There are two lockable doors to the cabin.

The front door leads from the front deck to the cabin. The door is equipped with a magnetic latch to keep it in the open position.

The cabin back door is a sliding door.

  • The door can break if it is slammed shut. Keep the door closed when the speed is over 5 knots.

  • Avoid using the sliding door on rough seas to prevent the door coming off its rails.

  • Rocking of the boat may cause the door to close regardless of the latch.
